It was Dreamgirl’s first time in the Vegas desert, and the crowd couldn’t be more ecstatic.
The dream-pop band from Kansas City, Missouri, was a long-way from home and was ready to put on a great show at the Rockstar Bar off the strip. The band revealed that they never have a setlist and figure it out as they go, and honestly, I think they have the right idea by doing this. They curate a super personal experience right on the spot while making it clear that as a band they are in sync.
Some of the songs that Dreamgirl played that night were Poolside, All U Wanna Do Is Dance, and one of my all-time favorite songs, Teenage Blue.
Everyone seemed like they were having a genuinely good time. There was good energy all around. You could feel the connection with the band and the crowd who sang and danced along to each song.
Dreamgirl is a band you definitely don’t want to miss. Make sure to catch them on the rest of their tour.
