Yikes! by Silver Sphere’s an album about breaking your own heart – something we might all be guilty of. Sophie Cates, also known as Silver Sphere, sings about the inability to walk away from someone that just isn’t that into you.
My favorite songs off of the album are “drinking games”, “boys r dumb! duh!”, and “waste my time”. All three songs follow the same general theme of infatuation. They’re about chasing after someone that you know will never commit- someone that keeps you around with empty words of love and affection. At the same time, they are about that realization that you’re worth more than sticking around for someone that doesn’t value you.
