Have you heard drivers license by Olivia Rodrigo? I’ve had it on repeat since its release a few days ago and I CANNOT stop listening to it.
I was already a fan of Rodrigo’s voice since watching the first season of HSMTMTS (I’ll leave that for another post) so I was eager to hear her debut single.
Rodrigo’s writing in drivers license – which is about moving on from a heartbreak – has been compared to the works of Taylor Swift. The song paints a story that you can vividly see in your mind. The lyrics, paired with her powerful voice, transport you into her shoes. You feel every emotion Rodrigo put into the song.
