Last Wednesday, we got to see our long-time favorite band SadGirl perform at Backstage Bar & Billiards in Downtown Las Vegas. It doesn’t matter how many times or in what setting I see SadGirl, they never disappoint.
Even if their lineup is a little different each time around – we had Misha Lindes on vocals/guitar, David Ruiz on drums, and Sami Perez on bass this time – they always have a way of captivating the crowd with their surf rock-inspired melodies.
The trio played hits like Little Queenie, Breakfast is Over, and Chlorine. They even played their latest single Goodbye Queenie. The crowd danced with all they had as the night came to close with the song Motorbreath (one of my personal favorites).
If you ever find yourself in the same city as SadGirl, do yourself a favor and go see them live. You won’t regret it!
