I did that Spotify thing where it exposes your sh*t music taste and mental state. According to Spotify, “Canadian Pop” is what sets me apart from everyone else. What is Canadian pop exactly? I’m going to go ahead and assume it’s Avril Lavigne since that’s the only Canadian I obsessively listened to at the beginning of this year.
Back in January, I regressed to my elementary school days and listened to some pop-punk classics, The Best Damn Thing album being one of them. I couldn’t tell you how many times I listened to the songs Everything Back But You and the acoustic version of I Can Do Better but I’m sure Spotify will let me know the embarrassing amount at the end of the year.
