Eliza & The Delusionals

On February 10th, at the House of Blue Las Vegas, Eliza and the Delusionals opened up for Silversun Pickups.

Eliza and the Delusionals is an indie rock band from Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Their energy proves to be unmatchable as they delivered one high energy song after another. There was a moment in which they slowed it down a bit with their song “Jackie” which lead singer Eliza, introduced by stating that it might resonate with those that’d lost someone close.

The played songs old and new – two of which will be included in their upcoming EP thats due for released on March 20th.

Eliza and the Delusionals ended their set with “Just Exist” which has easily become one of my favorite songs from their discography

With salt right beside it.

Eliza’s voice is so powerful and full of emotion especially once the chorus comes around for the third time in the song. Listening to it is a moving experience both live and on the record.
