Atlanta is known for thriving in the music industry; being the capital of genres like R&B, hip-hop and Soul/Gospel. In 2013, Tim Sweetwood had the idea of arranging a festival including more on the Indie side of genres. The 2 day festival is called ‘Shaky Knees’ and takes place in Atlanta, Georgia. Considering Sweetwood has past experience of hosting two other festivals prior to ‘Shaky Knees’, this was nothing new to him.
This year’s ‘Shaky Knees’ will be the 5th one! The festival starts Friday, May 3rd and will end on Sunday, May 5th. Tame Impala, Cage The Elephant, and Incubus are just a few headliners set to perform. However, smaller artists like Thee Oh Sees, Yellow Days, and Japanese Breakfast will be performing as well.
