I seem to always be behind when it comes to bands I really like. I just heard Phoenix’s J-Boy yesterday for the first time.
In J-Boy, the first single from Phoenix’s up and coming album “Ti Amo” – out June 9th – lead singer Thomas Mars sings in dreamy vocals about his significant other.
Mars sings about how this individual makes him see the best in others, makes him a better person, and improves his life altogether.
