Shame is one of those bands that you have to see live to further intensify your love for them. I recently was lucky enough to photograph and review their sold out show in New York City at Irving Plaza. If they’re coming into town—cancel your plans, buy tickets, and get ready for a crazy night.
This band is known for their lively shows. If you’re in the pit close to the stage, you can expect to dance with lead singer, Charlie Steen, as he makes his way into the crowd. Even if you aren’t in the standing room, he’ll make his way up—take my word for it. Josh Finerty (bassist) will be running and jumping all over the stage while sounding great but not stealing the show. He adds more chaos to the madness of the captivating performance. All in all, if Shame isn’t already one of your favorite bands due to their incredible music, they definitely will be after seeing an unforgettable performance.
